Biographical Description

Lia is originally from southeast Michigan. During law school, she held a variety of positions, including Judicial Extern for one year with Judge Robert L. Miller of the Northern District of Indiana. Following law school, and before joining Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty, P.C. in 2007, she represented indigent individuals charged with various misdemeanors in Detroit and the surrounding areas. Lia's current practice is concentrated in worker's compensation law, as well as general civil litigation. Lia resides in Valparaiso with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the violin and traveling.
